| Renovation works at Mankombu |
Renovation work is started at Mankombu Kavu Sree Moolasthanam, which is having a lot of specialties, thousand years of history, the Tamil relations and also the royal tradition. A project named “Devaranyam” (the planting of trees) in the premises of the SreeMoolasthanam has been started. Now we have to start the construction of a stone temple in beautiful Tamil sculpture method.
A temple renovation is not only a construction of a temple but also a revive of a culture- a new nature loving culture which helps us to recognizing our own soul, our own identity.
For the renovation work at the SreeMoolasthanam, the estimated cost is about Rs 20 Lakhs. All the works are done on the sculptured stone only. Rs 1000/- is estimated as the cost of one square feet of stone. The followers of Mankombilamma can devote their offerings on multiples of Rs 1000/-. For the reconstruction of MankombuKavilamma’s SreeMoolasthanam, the help of all the devotees, followers of Amma is very much necessary, which is a great fortune to all the participants.
