The main festival of Mankombilamma is celebrated on the tenth day of the month ‘Medom’ (the Malayalam month). On this day through a hole on the top of the hill situated at the eastern side of the temple, the rays of sun reaches the Lotus feet of Devi. The Annual worship ceremony of Mankombilamma is conducted on this particular day. In the presence of burning sun the ceremonies like Guruthi, and tender coconut water nivdeyam is being devoted to Devi. These ceremonies are celebrated here as per the Old Tamil worship styles.
